Hails from a happy family in Begusarai, a picturesque village of Bihar. She grew up with aspirations in her heart to make it big in the field of Education, completed her Post graduation in the field of Arts. Further expanded her horizon by moving to the Nation’s capital city, Delhi, with her family and contributing to her family and society for the past two decades. At home she nurtured her loving children and gave her entire focus on building a Happy Family.
Life is a Journey, It goes on, irrespective of whether we are Happy or Sad. Mrs.Punam chose to be Happy and radiate smiles and positive energy to the environment around her. Being a very kind person by nature, dedicated her time and resources for the upliftment of marginalised and the weaker section of the society. She extended her mantle of kindness to the society by serving in NGOs for children such as, “Spread a Smile”, Sakar Outreach and the likes to give education to the underprivileged children in Bihar. But she always felt that the journey was in complete. She wanted to give the light of knowledge to a bigger community, especially in Bihar, her homeland, and that drive in her inspired her to start a school… The Journey began on the main path of true happiness when the foundation for DPS Hajipur was laid on 29th September 2019 with the noble intention of giving knowledge to the future generation and making them responsible citizens.
The doors to a promising future without boundaries, where knowledge and learning is shared to all the young for a holistic development was opened to all on 20/04/2020.
Mrs.Punam has completed several Educational and Economic enhancement programs to contribute more to this dream project.
Moulding every product of DPS, Hajipur into a responsible and futuristic citizen to make this world a better place is her dream and she will pursue it with a strong team of staff committed to the cause to walk with her in this journey.

She is a leading educationalist, researcher, mentor and philanthropist. She is well-known for her innovations in the field of education and training. She has significantly contributed for spreading literacy in underprivileged children and also works for women empowerment . Sheer strength of characters, discipline, willingness to strive for education, scientific temperament and enthusiastic nature define her.
Vice Admiral S K Jha (Retd), PVSM, AVSM, NM
Vice Admiral S K Jha joined the Indian Navy as a Hydrographer in 1978. During his career in Hydrographic surveying over 38 years he had many prestigious surveys to his credit in India as well as in friendly foreign waters. Notably amongst them are surveys of Gujrat Pipavav Port, Jamnagar, Dahej, Mahuva and Simar ports. Based on his recommendations all these sites have been developed into fully functional ports. It was the pioneer survey of Karwar harbour in 1980 which provided basic data for the development of prestigious Naval base at Karwar. He was deputed to the Govt of Maharashtra from 1998 t0 2001 for identification of sites for development of ports in the state. Based on his recommendations seven sites were selected for development of ports/fishing harbours. Foreign cooperation surveys undertaken by the Admiral led to the agreement on cooperation in the field of Hydrography with Mauritius, Seychelles, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and Myanmar. He was the team leader of the delegation for discussions on Sir Creek between India and Pakistan from 2005 to 2008. He led the technical team to the Permanent Court of Arbitration at the Hague during India–Bangladesh IMBL arbitration proceedings. The Admiral held many prestigious assignments at the International and National level such as the Chairman of North Indian Ocean Hydrographic Commission, President Institution of Surveyors, President Indian National Cartographic Association etc. He was Chief Hydrographer to the Govt. of India from 2011 to 2015 .Post retirement he was advisor to the Inland Waterways Authority of India under Ministry of Shipping from 2016 to 2018 where he finalised the Detailed Project Report of 106 National Waterways. Presently he is consultant to the Lake and Waterways Development Authority ,Govt of J&K for rejuvenation of the Dal Lake . A highly decorated soldier he is a recipient of the Param Vishisht Seva Medal, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal & Nao Sena Medal (Gallantry ) .
Dr. Arvind Kumar A seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience. In the leadership role of VP - Research and Development at Optym, he has groomed several teams of practitioners to solve complex problems in practice. He is also an advisor to several startups.
